Recently the Humane Society participated in Community Days at Carson's. We would like to thank everyone who came out to support us. Also thank you to everyone who purchased coupon books from us. 100% of the book sales went to our shelter.

This year the Humane Society had a tree on display at the Gallery of Trees.
We would like to thank everyone who came out and voted for our tree. We won 1st place in the children's category!
"Walk for the Animals"
14th Annual Walk-A-Thon
The Kankakee County Humane Society had its 14th Annual Walk-A-Thon during Adopt a Dog Month. The event was held at the Governor Small Memorial Park on October 20th 2007. Thanks to everyone who helped out and donated to the event.

Oberweiss Dairy Grand Opening
The KCHS was at the Oberweiss Dairy Grand Opening in Bradley on Saturday June 9, 2007 from 10-4pm. Ice cream cones for 50 cents were available for sale with the proceeds going to the Humane Society. As a result, the KCHS made over $400. 3 animals were adopted also. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to support us!
